Why do something about your anger…..

Counselling can help you to have an understanding of your anger so you can live a much calmer and peaceful life. You can learn why you go from 0 – 100 in a second; why you always lose your temper. Gaining this understanding can help you to know what triggers your anger, what buttons are being pushed that make you react.

You will be more aware of what is happening inside of you so then you can choose to react differently. You will be able to feel that anger rising and then choose not to react in an angry way but be able to say, “Ah, that is that button being triggered. I don’t need to react in an angry way.” With this new awareness you can choose how to act – stay clam or get angry. However, once you understand what is causing the anger you won’t be angry about it any more. There will less things broken in the house and no more fists in walls or doors. Nothing to fix in the morning!

With no more verbal outbursts and the people around you no longing living on eggshells and wondering “I wonder what mood he will be?” life will be much calmer and peaceful. People will stop avoiding you will be able to hold down your job. Your relationships will last longer and be less volatile.

Why come to me?

I have written and devloped and taught many Anger Managment Courses and it was mainly men who came on these. This has given me a lot of experience of working with men and their anger issues. As I was a teacher I am able to put things in simple ways that people can understand. I don’t use a lot of jargon and big words because who needs them?
